There’s no two ways about it that the times are tough right now, they’re ‘unprecedented’ as the news keeps reminding us and if you keep up with the constant updates, it’s really quite scary. That’s reality as we know it, right now. It’s all rather disheartening, isn’t it?
Whilst it may feel like a challenge to lift spirits through a global pandemic, realistically what can we do aside from listen to the government and health care advice; to ‘STAY AT HOME’, look out for ourselves, those near and dear to us (at a 2m distance, of course) and to put it simply, CRACK ON?
If you can empower yourself to use this as a time to re-group, re-connect and re-engage with yourself, your loved ones and your aspirations – you’re onto something.
Have you had a burning desire to set-up your own business? Do you always feel rushed on the phone to loved ones? How often do you see self-care as an indulgent thing to do, rather than as a compulsory part of your routine?
NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE A LIST OF THE STUFF YOU NEVER GET TIME TO DO AND START GETTING IT DONE!
For us, we are using this time to make a new iteration of our website, to give our clients more support than ever and to create new content, processes and products to share with you all…For when the world is ready for us.
We are also offering all small businesses FREE advice, support and actual nitty gritty work, should they need it. Be it graphic design, content writing, social media support, or anything we can provide to you using our core skills and by giving you our time – please do reach out to us. #SmallBusinessesSupportingSmallBusinesses
Stick together and try to gain perspective wherever possible, remember there’s lots to be grateful for, even when the times are tough.
Here’s a little take-home for you, feel free to have a think about what the below means to you. These exercises will endeavour to provoke your thoughts, to boost your morale and to remind you of what really counts.
-List out some things that you are grateful for…
-Make a note of what you aspire to achieve whilst in isolation…
-Remind yourself of what you value in life…
Finally, please be reminded that everything in life is temporary, always… After Winter, must come Spring!
